Maaziya SR Club has left Maldives to Bangladesh to play in the first AFC Cup match of 2017. The match between Maaziya SR and Abahani Limited Dhaka (Bangladesh) is scheduled to take place on 14 March 2017 (Tuesday) at 1710 Maldives standard time.

Maaziya has been impressive so far this season, winning the charity shield and the two matches they played in STO Male’ League. They are yet to concede a goal, and look organized and well prepared under the new coach.

Abahani Limited Dhaka (Bangladesh) is one of the oldest and most successful clubs in Bangladesh. They were the premier league champions of Bangladesh in 2016.
