Eagles' Rizey destroys Foakaidhoo 5-0 to move up to second place.

Ahmed Rizvan (Rizey) scored for Eagles from a counter attack after a miss pass by Foakaidhoo in the 3rd minute. Foakaidhoo pressed on, but Eagles scored again through Maldives International Hussain Shifau(Kuro), The wing back raced into the box unmarked and placed the ball pass Saqib Hanif to make it 2-0 in the 38th minute. Before halftime Rizey scored his second goal in the 38th minute.

Foakaidhoo started strongly in the second half, changing their formation from 4-4-2 to 3-5-2. They failed to score from the chances they created, for a while it looked like they were are in for a comeback, Rizey foiled all hopes for Foakaidhoo by scoring his hattick and making it 4-0 in the 55th minute.

Foakaidhoo came close with Ahmed Mohamed(Ammadey) missing a sitter, and Mohamed Jailam(Oggy) missing a free header at the far post before Sayed Mahmud(Ramos) missed a penalty for Foakaidhoo. Sri Lankan International shot stopper saved Ramos' penalty before Musannif Mohamed completed the score for Eagles in the 90th minute after Foakaidhoo repeatedly failed to clear the ball in the box.
