Nilandhoo Apoints Adam Abdul Latheef (Lacchey) As Coach
Nilandhoo Apoints Adam Abdul Latheef (Lacchey) as their Head Coach for their Premier League campaign.
One of the legends of Maldivian football in the 90's, Lacchey will take on his former club Foakaidhoo FC on tuesday. Lacchey left Foakaidhoo FC to join Club Valencia as Sobah Mohamed's assistant at Club Valencia. Lacchey won the Shaviyani Atoll Round with Foakaidhoo before leaving Foakaidhoo.

Lacchey had a role in New Radiant's coaching staff in 2016. One of his best coaching achievement is with Vilufushi in the Zones tournaments.
Before Lacchey, Nilandhoo had Assad Abdul Ghani in an advisory role. Former Maziya, New Radiant and Green Streets player Faruhad Ismail (Farey) will be among his staff. Farey until recently was a National player. earlier in the season farey played for United Victory. Last year Farey was instrumental in Green Streets as one of their leading players.
Nilandhoo are currently 9th in the Premier League. Lacchey has two Minivan Championship sides in Foakaidhoo and Fehendhoo next before facing his former club, New Radiant Sports Club. Nilandhoo has four points from five matches. Their last match against Thimarafushi was encouraging for the new comers. Nilandhoo beat the Minivan Championship winners by 3-0 in their last game.
