Maziya Sports and Recreation Club has named Mohamed Azuhan Hamid the captain of their under 19 squad.

His deputies will be Mohamed Shahil and Shamoon Abdulla. Azuhan joined Maziya in 2015 has already made an appearance in Maziya Senior squad in 2017 Premier League. Former Jamaluddin School defender has been an active Maziya youth player since joining the Green Boys. In 2016 Azuhan was one of the center back's for Maziya's under 21 squad that played in the semi-finals. Azuhan trains with the senior team since joining Maziya.

Azuhan has been an integral part of Maldives Junior National teams. In 2014 Azuhan was selected for the under 13 National Team. last year the Maziya youngster played a part in Coach Ihusan Abdul-Ghani's (Saanthi) under 19 National team.

Last year's finalists Maziya will play their first game against Green Streets on 29th August at 16:00 hours. Maziya will play the opening match in Galolhu National stadium before the Champions Eagles take on New Radiant at 21:00 hours.

Green Streets, New Radiant, Eagles and Maziya will play a league of two rounds. The top two team will play the final match to determine the Youth Champions of Maldives.
