Junior Maldivian International Ismail Zaan Amir is named in UD Puçol's B-team for tomorrow's pre-season friendly against L'Eliana.

Zaan has captained Maldives National team at under 13, under 16 and under 19 levels. Zaan represented Maldives in the SAFF under 16 Championships. Zaan is the nephew of former Maldives Internationals Ismail Asif (Kuda Heena) and Heena Ahmed Saleem (Bodu Heena). 

One of the hot prospects of Maldivian football, Zaan moved to Edukick in Manchester where he excelled. Zaan currently plays for UD Puçol's under 19 side. Zaan moved to UD Puçol still training with The Next Generation Sports. 

Union Deportivo Puçol founded in 1951, plays in the Regional Preferente. Zaan moved to Spain from Manchester, England in 2016. Zaan also played for Levante (youth team) and Club Valencia under 21 team in Maldives.

Spain also has another talented Maldivian youngster Aash(Mirash Imthiyaaz), who moved to Spain a couple of years before Zaan.
