TC Sports Club has stunned Maziya Sports & RC for a 3-0 victory in today's clash of Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League 2018.

Both teams seamed evenly matched form the begining but the weather was against both teams as they had difficulty to play in the wet pitch. The first goal was scored by Ibrahim Mahudhy (Feydhoo Ibbe) in the 29th minute to give the lead for TC. Maziya's defender slipped due to the wet pitch and lost the ball to Feydhoo Ibbe who was near him and shot past Maziya's goalkepper to give the lead.

TC's second goal came in the 38th minute from a corner. Mohamed Azzam's corner to the far post was headed towards the bottom far corner by Alaaeldin Nasru, which was flicked in by Feydhoo Ibbe before Maziya's goalkeeper could get to it. TC's third goal on the counter was scored by Ibrahim Waheed in the 67th minute. Ali Ashfaq played a through ball to the wing which was crossed to the box by Feydhoo Ibbe and calmly netted in by Ibbe to secure all three points for the lions.

TC had regained their position at the top of the table with the win and are two points clear of Club Green Streets with 12 points. New Radiant are behind Green Streets with a match to play. They will play against Foakaidhoo tonight to get back in the title race of Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League 2018.
