Defending champions, New Radiant Sports Club edges past Maziya by 1-0 in tonights clash of Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League 2018.

Maziya and New Radiant are currently the biggest rivals and the match was heated up from the begining. Both teams created chances in the opening minutes but their defence held firm until the blues scored the opener in the 26th minute. Ahmed Abdhulla (Lily) headed the ball to the goal unmarked in the box as the green boys failed to clear properly after New Radiant's corner. The blues began dominating after the goal but Maziya had pushed forward in search of the  eqalizer.

Maziya had to push forward from the start of the secobd half being 1 goal behind and started creating chances. Their attacks were blocked by the blues and New Radiant had grabbed all three points from the green boys at the end.

As it stands, the blues are on the top with 7 points while Maziya are with 4 points from their previous games. TC is just one point below the blues with their match to be played tomorrow.
