Maziya Sports & RC has easily beaten Nilandhoo Football Team by 7-0 in tonight's match of Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League 2018.

Maziya completely dominated the match as they were clearly the favourites to win the clash. Maziya took an early lead in the seventh minute. Captain Asadhulla Abdhulla (Asako) scored the opener which was followed by Ahmed Imaz (Aakko)'s goal in the 8th minute. Asako scored his second of the night in the 18th minute and completed his hattrick on the 48th minute.

Maziya's fifth goal was scored by Cornelious Stewart in the 52nd minute while Asako scored another for the green boys in the 79th minute. Maziya's seventh goal was an own goal by Ahmed Sajid of Nilandhoo in the final minutes of regular time.

With the win, Maziya steps up to the second place 4 points tied with champions, New Radiant Sports Club. The blues lead by goal difference while TC is currently in third with their match to be played tomorrow.
