In this years tournament 13 Schools will be competing for the title in the under 16 age group. 8 Schools from Capital Male’, 2 Schools from Hulhumale’, 1 from Villigili, and 2 Schools from Atolls (K.Huraa and K.Guraidhoo).

Last year there was only one team from atolls, Dh.Kudahuvadhoo,was competing in under 16 age category. This year Dh.Kudahuvadhoo will be featuring in Under 18 age category.

FAM held the draw ceremony for under 16 yesterday with the school representatives.

In group A, last year’s U-16 age group Champion Ghaazee school meets Iskandharu School, Muhyiddin School from K.Villingili and Rehendhi School.

In group B, K.Huraa school meets Ahmadhiyya International School, Imaaduddin School and K.Guraidhoo School.

In group C, Dharumavantha School groups with Thaajuddin School, Jamaaluddin School, Kalaafaanu School and Majeedhiyya School.

Opening match of the age group and this years Inter-school football tournament, will be played between Ghaazee School and Iskandharu School (1 March , Friday, 13:45 pm).

All the matches will be played in Henveiru ground.

U-16 Groups:

Group A: Ghaazee, Iskandharu, Muhyiddin, Rehendhi.

Group B: K.Huraa, Ahmadhiyya, Imaaduddin, K.Guraidhoo.

Group C: Dharumavantha, Thaajuddin, Jamaaluddin, Kalaafaaanu, Majeedhiyya.
