The president of Club Green Streets, Muaviya Khaleel sends a heartfelt message to the club’s former head coach Sobah Mohamed regarding his comment.

After the recent clash between Club Green Streets and Club Valencia in the STO Male League 2018, Sobah had mentioned that the supporters of Green Streets were being disrespectful to him during the game. He also stated that he can proudly say that Green Streets is currently playing in the first division because of his hard work and the supporters should accept and respect him for that. He said that his work has resulted in favour of the club as they are currently competing in the first division and he is happy and proud to see that.

Green Street’s president Muaviya Khaleel replied to Sobah’s comment saying that the supporters did everything out of spirit and love of the game and is saddened by the comment made by their former head coach.

“We are deeply saddened by the comment made by our former head coach Sobah, during an interview after our last match against Club Valencia. We believe that whatever that was said by Club Green Streets supporters before, during or after the match was out of spirit and love of the game and to support Club Green Streets players and by no means out of disrespect. As we have said before, Club Green Streets have always had the utmost respect for Sobah as our former coach and we will always be thankful to coach Sobah for his dedication and commitment to our club during his time.”

Sobah was the head coach of Club Green Streets who is the mastermind behind the club’s success last year in the Male league as they finished the league in second place and advanced to the premier league. He was also their head coach when they lifted the second division trophy and advanced to the top level in 2016.
