In the ongoing Football Association of Maldives 2^nd Division 2018, Dhivehi Sifainge Club registered their second win of the tournament.

It was the fifth match of this year’s 2^nd division, second match for the team from military side and B.G Sports. Dhivehi Sifainge Club won their second match of the tournament against B.G Sports Club by 0-3. B.G Sports has lost their two matches so far in the tournament. They lost to Kuda Henveiru in the opening match of the tournament by 3-0. With this defeat B.G Sports has lost their chance to move forward in the tournament, as the best two teams from each group will be advancing to the semifinals.

Three goals by D.S.C came in the second half of the match as the first half was ended on 0-0 draw.

A hat-trick by D.S.C foreign striker, Valyeyev Rinar, gave three points from the match. His first came just after couple of minutes into the second half, at the 52^nd minute. Later in 71^st minute he scored his second and just 4 minutes after he went to score again and completed his hat-trick of the match at the 75^th minute.
With this win, Dhivehi Sifainge Club sits at the top spot of group 1 with 6 points and 5 plus goals.

Dhivehi Sifainge Club is led by the Ahmed Nashidh (Coach Naadh) with home they got promoted to the second divison this year after winning the third division title last year.

On the other hand, B.G Sports Club is led by Coach Muaviyath Ilham (Coach Ille).

This year’s FAM second division football will be carried out in association with Maldives Post Limited and Maldives Ports Limited. As the both parties will be supporting financially to the participating teams.
