UNDER 18: B.ATOLL EDUCATION CENTER (BAEC,EYDHAFUSHI) VS AHMADHIYYA, TODAY 16:00 HRS
Today evening in Milo Inter School Football Tournament 2018, under 18 age category, in the last group stage match, B.Atoll Education Center (BAEC, Eydhafushi) will face Ahdmadhiyya International School (AIS).
Both teams have already played their first two matches in the tournament. AIS wonderfully won the first two games, first one against Villa International High School (VIHS) winning it on 0-2 and second match against Center for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) winning it on 1-2. Ahmadhiyya has collected full points from both games and is as the top team in the ranking.
On the other hand, BAEC first match was the tournament opener, which ended as a goal less draw against CHSE. And in second match, BAEC played against defending champion, Villa International High School (VIHS). Sadly, BAEC could not collect any point from the game as VIHS won the match by 1-3.
In the rankings, BAEC sits at the bottom. BAEC and CHSE has same amount of points (1 point) and same in goal difference (-2), but CHSE wins the third on number of goals scored (CHSE has scored 2, BAEC scored only 1).
With Ahmadhiyya International School (AIS) being already advanced to age group final as first team, and after yesterday’s match, VIHS has also advanced to the final, therefore, the finalists have been decided. This match wont effect any of the finalists’ rankings.
Center for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) vs Villa International High School (VIHS) match will kick-off at 16:00 hrs. today evening in tournament venue, Henveiru Ground.
Current champion of the age group is Villa International High School. Runner-up is Dh.Atoll Education Center (Dh.Kudahuvadhoo) School. Ahmadhiyya is the most successful side in the senior age category in Inter School Football.
