Maalhendhoo has been crowned as champions of Noonu atoll with the advantage of away goal.

Only Maalhendhoo and Manadhoo participated in the Minivan Championship this year and as per the rules, two matches of home and away were played to decide the winner. The first leg was played at Manadhoo where Maalhendhoo easily beat Manadhoo by 3-2. With 3 away goals, Maalhendhoo had given more pressure for Manadhoo for the second leg.

The second leg played at Maalhendhoo was won by Manadhoo by 2-1 which resulted in an aggregate score of 4-4. Manadhoo managed draw on aggragate but Maalhendhoo emerged as champions with the away goal they scored at Manadhoo.

Maalhendhoo advances to the zone round where they will face the champions of Shaviyani atoll, Foakaidhoo.
