Under 14 age group final will be today evening 16:00 hrs in the tournament venue, Henveiru Ground. On one side, last year’s runner-up Iskandharu will be playing, and another side will be last year’s under 16 champion, Majeedhiyya School.

It was Majeedhiyya who earned the first spot of the under 14 final as they went to win the semifinal match by 0-1 against Hiriyaa School. Iskandharu secured the last spot of the age group final after winning their semifinal match against Kalaafaanu School on penalty shootout by 4-6 score after a 3-3 regular time score.

Majeedhiya is the best team when it comes to scoring goals. Majeedhiyya under 14 boys has scored total 23 goals (21 in group stage, 1 in both quarter and semi). And Majeedhiyya junior reds also are the one of the best side, team conceded least, along with quarterfinalist Ghiyaasuddin International School. Majeedhiyya conceded only a single time. Majeedhiyya junior reds is led by coach Ahmed Mamdhooh (Fernando). Majeedhiyya lifted under 16 title under coach Fernando last year.

Iskandharu School has scored total 8 goals so far in the tournament. 7 goals during group stage and 1 in the quarter final, 3 goals during semifinal. When it comes to conceding, opponents sides have found back of the Iskandharu’s goal 8 times. 5 times in the group stage and 3 times in the semifinal. Iskandharu is the last year’s age group runner-up, when they were beaten by current age group champions Ahmadhiyya International School. Iskandharu School under 14 side led by coach Yousuf Azeem (Coach Yoote).

As the under 14 age category is almost concluded, so far in this age side, 146 goals has being scored by 15 teams among 16 participants. Only Bilabong International High School under 14 side was unable to get a goal.

Final match will be played in the Henveiru Ground , today 16:00 hrs.
