Helmet is back in the National team
Ahmed Nooman(Helmet) is back in the National Squad for the matches against Singapore and Bhutan. Helmet was dropped by Velizar Popov. Since then Helmet has been overlooked by former National team coaches.
Guraidhoo born Eagles star was injured early last season. When Eagles failed to qualify for the Premier League last season, Thinadhoo signed the unfit Helmet on loan. Helmet had an excellent end to last season.
Helmet's brother Mohamed Naim(Kuda Helmet) has also been called up for the first time.
The National Coach Petar Segrt has has surprised a lot with the exclusion of some regulars like Shafiu Ahmed, Ahmed Abdulla(Lily), Hassan Naiz(Dhaadhu) and Ahmed Rizvan(Rizey) and the inclusion with three under 19 players among others.
