Maziya beat Victory by three goals as the green boys moved to second in the league standings. Maziya are in second place with seven points while Victory are in fifth place with three points.

Maziya drew first blood in the game thanks to a own goal by Victory defender Shamis after he placed Stewart's cross into the back of his own net.

Minutes before the end of the first half Yashfaad Habeeb scored to give the green boys a two goal lead. Yashfaad was all by himself when he received the ball inside the Victory penalty area and his powerful shot went into the back of the net off Victory keeper imran.

Ismail Esa and Stewart had chances to extend the green boys lead but it was Irufan who scored to make it three goals.  Irufan's shot from distance found the top corner of the net.
