In the ongoing Milo Inter School Football Tournament 2018’s under 14 age category, Kalaafaanu School and Iskandharu School has secured the last two semifinal spots after winning today’s quarter final matches of both side.

In today’s first quarter final encounter, which is the third quarter final, during afternoon, Imaduddin School met Kalaafaanu School. Imaduddin entered quarter final round as group C winners while Kalaafaanu as runner-up of group D. After a goal less regular time in today’s action, the match was decided on penalty shootout, which ended on Kalaafaanu School young greens favor. Imaduddin School unluckily missed two of the five penalties. On the other hand, Kalafaanu missed only one, and entered the next round, semifinal round, as they won the match by 3-4 result.

In the quarter final last match today evening between Ghiyasuddin International School faced last year’s runner-up Iskandharu School. Getting few good chances to score goals and both sides finding little unlucky to finish those chance as goals, match ended on Iskandharu favor as junior reds won by 0-1. A single goal victory in the quarter final has guaranteed Iskandharu the last final spot of semifinals. Being the runner-ups of previous year, with this win and entering in to the semifinal round, it seems Iskandharu School is getting close to achieve what they missed last year.

First semifinal match will be played between Hiriyaa School and Majeedhiyyaa School on 20th March.

Second semifinal match will be played between the Kalaafaanu School and Iskandharu School.This semifinal will be on 21st March.

Under 14 age category final match will take place on 24th March between the winners of two semifinals.

Current champion of the age group is Ahmadhiyya International School.
