Ali Nisthar Mohamed has been appointed as head coach of Maalhos, as they prepare for the Minivan Championship tournament.

Nisthar, who previously worked as an assistant coach at BG Sports, Club Eagles and Victory SC, used his experience to guide the team last year at premier league. Maalhos finished the campaign at seventh position of the table with 9 points from 14 games, but the team’s game play was applauded by many top coaches and supporters.

Ahmed Aarif (Aari), who displayed an outstanding performance under Nisthar’s guidance, has signed to TC Sports this season. Even Maalhos Sports Club’s brave shot stopper, Ibrahim Zameer (Ibu) has signed for Valencia before the season started.

Maalhos Football Team registered as a club as "Maalhos Sports Club", has already begun their preparation for the Minivan Championship tournament. As such, they have recently completed the signing of former BG Sports and Pakistan National team goal keeper, Saqib Hanif. Since Maalhos Sports Club competed in the premier league last year, they will be battling for the championship title from the final round this year.
