Milo have joined hands with Football Association of Maldives to develop football in Maldives. To find the young rising talents and help them to reach their goals by offering them a chance to train in European and Spanish giants, FC Barcelona academies.

Nestle'- Milo became an ambassador of Spanish giants FC Barcelona couple of months ago. FC Barcelona and Milo have joined hands to develop football in South Asia. Not in Maldives, also in our neighboring Sri Lanka also Nestle'- Milo is continuing their this amazing work to help the local talents to full fill dreams in sports.

This is just aof a new initiate by Milo in Maldives. Although it's first program is launched in capital Male', there will be four other programs launched in four areas in the atolls too. As this program will be continuing for a long time, FA Maldives and Milo will announce the details of the program in which the selected kids will make the trip to Spain.

From every programs, the very talented selected players will assessed and among them the best four talented players from Maldives will visit FC Barcelona in once a lifetime opportunity and will have the chance to see the world's best player Lionel Messi in action and will be taught by UEFA elite coaches. Along with players, two local coaches also will be given the golden chance to experience the European and Spanish giants.

The main aim of the project is to find young footballers with the potential to become future stars.

Today's signing ceremony for the new initiate by Milo, was held in Henveiru Stadium, in which on behalf of FAM, vice president to FA, Dr.Shakeeb and from Nestle' Milo, Mr.Dhishan signed the paper works. With more than  250 players among the football academies based in capital Male' , all wearing the Milo colors enjoyed the footballfestival as their parents accompanied them.

Milo has been the biggest contributor to the youth level sports in Maldives for the past numbers of years. Nestle' Milo has been sponsoring inter school football and volleyball and other local sports events too. The company has continued to support local sport clubs as well.
