Former National player Ahmed Niyaz (Niyatte) has joined Victory Sports Club as the assistant coach. He will be assisting head coach Lazlo Kiss in the ongoing  STO-Male' League.

Niyatte who now works as head coach for Hiriya School was Thinadhoo's under 21 coach last season.

Niyatte who has vast experience is known as a hard working strong midfielder. Niyatte joined Thinadhoo last season when Victory failed to qualify to the Premier League. He helped Thinadhoo qualify to the President's Cup. Niyatte who was selected to the National squad on several occations also played for New Radiant Sports Club.
