New Radiant Sports Club has recently opened a football academy in L.Fonadhoo.

NRSC opened the academy by the name of “Laamu Academy” on 1^st March, with the aim of spreading their activities throughout the nation and to nurture youngsters for the future. With a total of 110 kids, the academy is open for kids from the age of 6 years to 16 years.

Speaking to media, New Radiant’s General Secretary Ahmed Niyaz (Ted) said that coaches from Laamu atoll will be working at the academy and senior coaches of the club will visit the academy from time to time.

New Radiant recently opened an all girls academy in Male and the management has stated that everything is going according to the plan of Chairman Mohamed Ziyad. They also stated that the club is working on opening more academies in other atolls to achieve their target of spreading their activities nationwide.
