Eagles thrashes Victory Sports Club in today's Male' league opening match. Eagles beat Victory 4-1 coming back from one goal down.

Victory took the lead in the first half thanks to an Angel Carrescosa Munoz corner headed into goal by Simon Tibor Csordas. Victory had several chances in the first half to double their lead.

Club Eagles did not waste their chances as Mohamed Naim equalized early on. Second half substitute Ahmed Rizvan won a penalty for Eagles in the first ball that was played to him. Purcino Luiz Eduardo placed the ball into goalkeeper Mohamed Imran's right corner. Few minutes later it was Hassan Raif (Hanna), who easily beat Hussain Shihubaan an placed the ball past the helpless goalkeeper.

Rizey completed the rout with a cheeky chip past goalkeeper Mohamed Imran to give Coach Mohamed Shiyaz (Mohan) memorable debut.
