Club Valencia beat Thimpu City 3-0 (3-0) at home to advance from the AFC Cup Qualifications play-off.

Club Valencia and Thimpu City drew the first leg at Thimpu, Bhutan.

Valencia dominated much of the game and were unable to break the deadlock until Ibrahim Hamdhan(messi) came on in the 67th minute. The former BG Sports striker immediately linked with Omadu west to create chances. Thimpu City were concentrating on defense and launching dangerous counter attacks.

Hamdhan scored the first goal in a counter attack move from a pass by Omadu West. Chinda scored the second goal 6 minutes later. Experienced winger Ahmed Rilwan(Riley) scored the 3rd goal of the game to give Coach Mujuthaba(Fesko) a winning start.

Valencia's next game is against Maziya in the Charity Shield game on the 16th of February.
