TC take on Bengaluru with hope and conviction of winning
TC takes on Bengaluru FC tonight at Male time 1930 hrs on the second leg of the AFC Cup qualifying with renewed hope and conviction that they can beat Bengaluru FC. The first leg that was played in Male’ ended 3-2 to Bengaluru. In a exciting game, Bengaluru scored two goals only TC to come back and score two goals to equalize. But luck have it Bengaluru scored a 3rd to win the match 3-2, with TC missing some great opportunities in front of the goal.
Bengaluru coach highlighted that even thought they have a slim advantage after the first leg, they would be taking TC seriously for the match. He also noted that Bengaluru has been playing matches so close given that they are also involved in the Indian Super league matches, player fatigue would play a role. On the other had TC is fresh with STO Male league yet to kick off.
TC coach Nizambe said he respected Bengaluru as a great team of the region, given that they are also leading the Indian super league, but stated that TC aim’s is to win the match at any cost and qualify to the AFC Cup qualification.
If anything is to go by the match we say in the first leg, we can expect an exciting, attacking and a match full of goal.
