On the 2nd of January Ali Ashfaq(Dhagandey) tweeted that he has not decided where he is playing his football this season.

Only three weeks away from the first league game and just ten days away from the Charity Shield, we are yet to receive news of Dhagandey's transfer. Dhagandey was instrumental in Maziya's league success last season.

No doubt Ashfaq is still our best player. He won the league for New Radiant before moving to PDRM(Malaysia), where he made a name for himself. Even with injuries he played a key role in Coach Suzain's Maziya side. It is unlikely he will play for Maziya this season. Interested club could be Victory and New Radiant.

Victory have already signed well known strikers Hassan Adhham from Valencia, Mostafa Seddik from Eagles, Andrei Keric from United Victory and Holhudhoo striker Mohamed Zameer (Zumbo) who looked impressive in their first pre-season friendly game. So it is unlikely they will sign Ashfaq.

This makes New Radiant the most likely party to sign the 31 year old legend. Imagine a forward line that has Ali Ashfaq and Ali Fasir, last seasons top player.

What club is he going to play for? we believe Ashfaq will most likely play for New Radiant, if he is playing in the Male' League.
