TC Sports Club will take on Bengaluru FC of India tomorrow night in male’ in  the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup qualification match. The match is scheduled to kick off at 2100 hrs at Male' National Stadium.

TC Sports Club beat Saif Sporting Club of Bangladesh in two legs while Bengaluru FC of India comfortably beat Transport United of Bhutan in two legs to qualify to the second stage of qualification in road to the AFC Cup group stage qualification.

Bengaluru FC met Maziay SR at the same stage last year and went on to beat them in two legs to qualify to the AFC Cup group stage. The happy memories for Bengaluru FC in National Stadium of Male’ must be fresh in their memories, specially their injury time match winner they score against Maziay SR which as the catalyst for their qualification.

TC Sports club won their home and away matches against Saif Sporting Club of Bangladesh, but the task of winning the two legs against Bengaluru FC is going to be a very difficult task compared that of Saif Sporting Club. A task they hope to fulfill and complete in their dream of qualifying to the AFC cup for the first time in the clubs young history. TC Sports club has no major injury worries ahead of the big match, but lack of competitive matches might affect them as the match goes on. The  Maldivian football season which was scheduled to start last week has been delayed due to the stage of Emergency in the country.

Bengaluru FC is a team inform and is currently at the top of the points table of the Indian super league with 33 points. The advantage for Bengaluru FC is their familiarity to the National Stadium of Male’ as well as the fact the team has been playing competitive matches in the Indian Super League.
