Maldives #1 player, Ali Ashfag (Dhagey) has extended his contract with New Radient Sports Club for this season.

As New Radient Sports Club has official began their trainings today evening towards the upcoming season. Today evening, in the National Football Stadium, Blues, kicked-off their season trainings unders their  head coach, the Spain national, Oscar Brunoz, who was brought in the middle of last season. New Radiant was impressed by coach Oscar’s way of handling the team and the effects he brought up on the pitch. The Blue’s board decided to keep him for another season. New Radiant won two domestic titles, Premier League and President’s Cup, last season.

In 2006, Dhagey debuted in Blue shirt for the biggest club of the nation, New Radiant. After a season he left blues and returned to New Radiant in 2012, the following year, 2013, the most remarkable season of his career in club level and New Radiant’s most successful season.

Other than Dhagey, some of the exisiting players in New Radiant squad, has already renewed their contracts with mighty Blues. At the very beginning of this year, Akram Abdul Ghani (Aku) , Abdulla Midhath (Bichad), Hassan Adhuham (Sadey), Rilwan Waheed (Riley).

Meanwhile, the experience midfielder and the former national team player, Mohamed Fazeel (Oppo), who played a huge role in last season’s Blue’s domestic success,  has not yet renewed his contract with the Blues.
