Maldives National Football Team will start their training today in preparation to face Oman for the second time in AFC Asian Cup 2019 qualification. Maldives is in group D with Palestine, Oman and Bhutan. Palestine is on the top with 9 points from 3 matches followed by Oman with 6 points, Maldives is at third place with 3 points while Bhutan is at the bottom with no points.

Oman had a comprehensive win over Maldives in the last match played between the two teams in the AFC Asian Cup 2019 qualification with a score line of 5 – 0. Maldives will host the next match of the qualification. The match will be played on 10th October 2017 (Tuesday) at Galolhu National Stadium and kick of will be at 2100hrs (Maldives time). This will be an important match for Maldives to get their AFC Asian Cup qualifying campaign back on track.
