In today's evening match of Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League, Maziya SR beat Maalhos comfortably by a score line of 3-0 to end the first round of the league in 2^nd place of the point table.

Both teams came into the match with two key suspensions. Maziya SR experienced midfielder Ali Arif (Baka) was suspended while the Spanish mid fielder of Maalho Angel Munoz was suspended due to two yellow cards.

Maziya started brightly with their first attack coming in the very first minute of the match, with a chance to Assad Ali who headed the ball over the cross bar of Maalhos. Maziya's first goal was an own goal by Abdulla Ibrahim (Crespo) of Maalhos, who was unfortunate to deflect a corner by Mohamed Umair of Maziya to his own goal in the 33rd Minute of the match.

Maziya SR scored two unanswered goals in the second half from Keric Andrej in the 53rd minute of the match and by Mohamed Umair, in the the 93rd minute of the match.

Maziya SR ended the first round of the league with 16 points with 5 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat. Maalhos ended the first round with 2 points, from 2 draws and 5 defeats and is placed in the 7th place of the point table.
