Maldives under 16 national football team will face Oman in their first test in the AFC U-16 Championship 2018 Qualifiers.

Maldives team went to Tajikistan four days ago and so far has completed two training sessions ahead of tomorrow’s match.

In group B, Maldives face four tough opponents of the region, in Oman, Tajikistan, Syria and Turkmenistan.

Maldives under 16 performance was poor and disappointing in the recently concluded SAFF U-16 Championship 2017 in Nepal, in which India was crowned as champions.

Oman vs Maldives match will kick-off tomorrow at 1600 hrs in local time, at Respublikanskiy Stadium, Dushanbe.

Match will be live streamed by Tajikistan Football Federation.
