Akram joins Maalhos FT as a goalkeeper trainer

Former Club Valencia Goalkeeper Mohamed Akram has joined Maalhos FT as a goalkeeper trainer. Akram was deputy to Mohamed Iqbal from 1987 to mid 90s. Akram broke into Club Valencia first team at the age of 17. He was part of the Valencia team that won the Cup Winners cup in 1988.

Boalha MVs first featured player Ibrahim Zameer and his assistant keeper would now be trained by Akram. It would be a positive boost to Malhos to use the break in the Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League to focus on their defence and goalkeeping which is one of the weak links in the team.
