Club green streets go top of the league with a win against Thinadhoo. with thi win CGS now have 6 points to their name Shafiu and Illia scored for green streets meanwhile Avilia scored for thinadhoo.

The first goal of the game came in the 37th minute from Ukrainian midfielder Sobol Illia. Ahmed mohamed (Ahammadey) lifted a ball over the Thinadhoo defense for Illia who beat the oncoming defender before firing home to draw first blood.

CGS dominated the first half play but where unable to make use of it as they failed to add to their one goal advantage. Thinadhoo in the other hand was dangerous in counter attack and came close to leveling things up on a couple of occasions.

Thinadhoo were awarded with the equalizer to make it all square. Striker Avilia went past two Green Streets defenders before placing the ball into the far corner of the net beyond the reach of out stretching goalie Jun.

Thinadhoo pushed forward in  search of a winner but were unable to do so and Green Streets to their chance in the 86th minute to secure all three points. The late winner came from defender Shafiu Ahmed (Shaafy).
