Kudahuvadhoo outrun by Maziya

Maziya sports and recreation beat Kudahuvadhoo by 4-0 in the opening matach of Ooredoo Dhivehi premier league thanks to captain Asadulla Abdulla and a brace from Andrej Keric. Maziya's fourth goal was a own goal by Kudahuvadhoo captain.

The first goal of the game came less than 50 seconds into the game. Ismail Esa (messi) cleverly beat a onrushing defender before cutting the ball acros the goal for Asadulla who fired home to draw first blood.

Kudahuvadhoo held on to a 1-0 score line till the end of the first half despite Maziya dominating the play.

Kudahuvadhoo were much better in the second half and had much more of the possession but failed to threaten Mahmoud Al Yusef's goal. Kudahuvadhoo paid a heavy price for their possession football in the second half with a handful of dangerous counter attacks and Maziya even scoring the last three goals from counter attacks.

Maziya's second goal was scored by Croatian striker Andrej Keric who slotted the ball into the roof of the net to make it 2-0. In the 69th minute Keric made it 3-0 to Maziya after a assist from Adey.

The final goal of the game was an own goal from Kudahuvadhoo captain Ibrahim Rashad.
