Ooredoo sign three year agreement with FA as official sponsor of Dhivehi league

Telecommunication giants Ooredoo have agreed to become the official sponsor of Dhivehi league for the next three years. An agreement was signed by FA president Bassam Adeel and Ooredoo CEO Najib Khan.

The price of the sponsor agreement was not revealed by either the FA nor by Ooredoo.  Ooredoo was the the sponsor of last years league aswell.

A continuous supporter in the Maldivian footballing scene Ooredoo has spent millions in recent years for football in Maldives.

In an attempt to promote this years league a fantasy football league has been introduced. French footballing legend Marcel Desailly will be the cheif guest of the opening match of the league which will be played between Maziya and Kudahuvadhoo.
