With Ooredoo Premier league scheduled to kick off on 4th August 2017, we look at the first round of the matches and give our prediction for the upcoming matches.

Maziya V Kudahuvadhoo

Maziya has strengthened their squad during the transfer window for the Premier league with addition of Mohamed Arif (Baka), Ismail Esa (messi), Andrej Keric and Mahmoud Al yusef, all joining from Victory SC. We expect Maziya to be too strong for Kudahuvadhoo, who have only brought in a couple of players.

Prediction: 3-0 to Maziya

TC V New Radiant

With the addition of legends Ali Asgfaq and Ibrahim Fazeel (Oppo), along with Rilwan waheed (Riley) and Hassan Adham (Sadey) New Radiant is  looking a very strong side. They are clearly the favorites against TC, but TC is a team that should not be underestimated.

Prediction: 2-1 to New Radiant

Green Streets V Milandhoo

Green streets have brought in few players so have Milandhoo, notably Mohamed Imran. With Imma defending the line, Milandhoo might upset the high flying Green Streets.

Thinadhoo V Maalhos

Arguably the weakest team in the Premier league is Maalhos. But we expect them to provide a strong fight against Thinadhoo, who mite just be too strong for them  at the end.
