Enlightened Sports Academy opens in N.Manadhoo.

Manadhoo football team assistant coach Abdulla Malaz and his friend Abdulla Rasheed have started a academy in Manadhoo.

Experienced coach Hamdhulla Fenando has been appointed as the academy head. Hamdhulla will train both players and coaches of the academy.

Four coaches including Malaz and two senior players of Manadhoo team will be working in the academy.

The academy has 85 players divided into three age groups. The fee of the academy is set at 180 Rufiya per month with kit sponsor coming from local shop New View.

The main aim of this academy is to help youth and teach various skills and help them become useful to the society.

Over the last couple of years the number of academies in islands has increased drastically. Academies like this will surely have a positive impact on the future of football.
