Late Show by Ali Haisham(Chumpu) for MPL broke HDC Hearts as they came from behind to tie the game and win on penalties. 

Just five minutes into the game Ahmed Sizan opened the scoring for HDC. 

Early in the second half, Hassan Naiz(Dhaadhu) doubled the lead for HDC. Dhaadhu added his second halfway through the second half to give HDC a 3-0 lead. Chumpu showed that 'anything can happen in a game of futsal' scoring two goals in a minute making it 3-2 with less than a minute to go. Ismail Fathih then scored the equaliser in the final moments to take it to penalties.

Abdulla Shafiu, Saamin Mohamed Naseer and Hussain Mifrah Waheed scored for HDC while Ahmed Hussain, Mohamed Yafaau, Ahmed Nizam and Ali Shamaal(Shammu) converted for Mpl to win their second consecutive match on penalties. This is as dramatic as is gets for MPL. coming back from 3-0 down in two minutes and then winning on penalties.

MPL will play Fenaka on the 5th of November to decide the Club Maldives Cup 2022 Champions.
