Football Association of Maldives has decided to cancel Male' league qualification and award automatic qualification to the bottom four teams of this years Male' league.

Club Valencia, United Victory, Club Eagles and Victory sports Club will all now have a spot in next years Male' league.

This decision was taken after Zefrol and Kuda henveiru decided not to take part in the Qualification due to financial difficulties.

The new changes to the footballing calendar has had loopholes with second division side having to wait months for the qualification.
