Retired Colonel Mohamed Ziyad has been elected as the new chairman for New radiant Sports Club. Colonel Ziyad takes over after the disastrous 2016 season. Under his leadership NRSC is set to return the club to where they were just a few years ago. Already talks are underway to bring in big names such as Ali Ashfaq (Dhagandey), Ali Fasir (Sentey). Goal Keeper Imran has already joined the blues, with Victory SC also strengthening their squad, The greatest rivalry in Maldivian football is set to reignite.
