Club Green Streets have moved upto fourth in the Dhivehi league standings thanks to a 3-2 win over Club Valencia.

Green Streets have equal number of points with fifth place United Victory but have a better goal difference. Both Clubs have 23 points under their belt.

Green Streets started the game high flying with a third minute goal by striker Jose Avila heading home from a hassan Nazeem cross.

In the ninth minute Jailam saw his shot miss by a few inches and another chance followed in the 23rd minute when Jose Avila saw his shot drag wide.

Valencia bounced back to draw level in the 30th minute. Defender Amdhan Ali stepped up to nod a header.

Green Street restored their advantage in the 63rd minute when Juan Carlos hit the back of the net. Carlos angled the ball into the far corner of the net.

Carlos double Green Dragons advantage in the 83rd minute following a error in the Valencia defense line. Keeper Faisal and Ahmed Shizaan‘s miscommunication led to Carlos find himself alone with the ball and slotted the ball into the back of an empty net.

Valencia fired back in injury time to make it 3-2 but their last gasp attempt was not enough as Green Dragons held on to secure maximum points.
