TC Sports defeats high-flying Eagles 1-0 in this evening's Dhivehi Premier League match.

Ahmed Numaan(Noombe) deflected in Omar Hossam Solah's low cross beyond young goalkeeper Aleef into his own net to give TC Sports the lead in the 21st minute. 

Halfway through the second half, Ahmed Rizuvan missed Eagles best chance of the game. The Maldives International blasted his penalty over the bar. Eagles was denied late in the game when Hassan Raaif(Hanna) had a shot from Rizey freekick was deflected by TC defender Ala Nasr on to the goalpost. Former Eagles goalkeeper Sujan Perera was ever present for TC.

With this result Maziya remains 5 points clear at the summit with a game in hand. They will play against Super United Sports on the 12th. Meanwhile TC Sports gain a massive advantage over 4th placed Club Valencia, who play 5th placed Green Streets. Later tonight United Victory take on Da Grande.
