Green Streets move to fifth with win over Super United Sports
Green Streets move to fifth in the league standings with a four nil win over Super United Sports. TC Sports Club are in fourth place while Green Streets in fifth and United Victory in sixth all have 20 points to their name. TC get fourth thanks to a better goal difference. Super United are seventh in the table with 14 points.
Green Streets took the lead through Hassan Nazeem Gasim in the 28th minute. A minute after the half hour mark Green Dragons extended the lead thanks to a goal from Colombian striker Jose Avila. Avila fired home a header to find the back of the net.
Jailam Hassan converted from the spot in the 38th minute to give Green Streets a three goal lead before the end of the first half. Green Streets winger Hassan Nazeem was taken down inside the box by SUS defender Rilwan Naeem. Green Streets finished off the scoring in the 72nd minute. Jose Avila fired home from a header to grab his second of the game and make it four nil for Green Streets.
