Club Green Streets signs experienced goalkeeper coach Mohamed Iqbal(IQ).

Iqbal signs from Club Valencia for the rest of the season. Green Streets has used 3 different goalkeepers this season. Pakistani International Saqib Haneef, Ahmed Rameez and Hussain Shifaadh are all experienced goalkeepers. Saqib and Shifadh with AFC Cup experienced under their belt, will be trained by the former Maldives International. Iqbal worked with Green Streets at the beginning of 2001 season before moving to Club Valencia.

Iqbal has worked as Goalkeeper trainer for Maldives National side, BG Sports Club, Club Valencia and has vast experience as player and coach.

Talking to BoalhaMV, Green Streets General Secretary Abdullah Umaish said that securing Iqbal's signature is a tremendous boast for the club's coaching staff as well as for the players. "Iqbal is one of Maldives most decorated goalkeepers, one of the best. We are very happy to sign him and we hope that this will be a long term venture" Umaish said.
