Club Eagles close the gap on league leaders Maziya with a win over bottom of the table Da Grande. Eagles took three points with a 2-1 win. The second round of the league came to an end for both clubs and Eagles have 35 points from 14 games. Maziya sit top the table with a four point advantage.

Eagles took the lead in the 11th minute when Ahmed Hassan fired home to draw first blood. Grande came into the second half on the strong foot and fired back in the 51st minute. Abdulla Junaid's header level the score at 1-1.

Eagles secured the win with a goal in the 76th minute of the game. Da Grande defender saw his attempt to clear Raif Hassan's cross end in the back of his own net.
