Mohamed Julan Shafeeu scored a brace as TC Sports defeated Maziya Sports 5-2 in the opening match of the FAM Under-16 Youth Championship.

Julan was off the mark in the 8th minute to give TC the lead in yesterday's Youth Championship clash between the giants. 3 minutes later Abdulla Rizan Mohamed equalised for Maziya. Julan regained TC Sports lead halfway through the first half only to be pegged back by Ali Umran Umar's goal a minute later. Mohamed Aiham Abdulla regained the lead for TC Sports 2 minutes later. Yoosuf Aish Mohamed scored TC's 4th goal to give them a comfortable lead in the first half.

Mohamed Markin Ibrahim scored the only goal in the second half just 6 minutes into the game.

Today Valencia will take on Da Grande in the Galolhu National Stadium at 16:00pm.
