Mohamed Easa(Mo) has been appointed as Zone Coordinator for the North Zone.

Mo, the SAFF Gold medal winning manager of 2018, has a been been appointed by the FA to the upcoming North Zone division, where Island teams will compete each other to qualify for the Dhivehi Premier League 2023-24, the first ever Home-Away Premier League in Maldives. Open Division, Third Divisions are set to start in the coming months. Road to Premier League is via four zones now, where each zone will have their own open, Third, Second and First Divisions. The four zone champions will join the 8 teams of the Premier League in a Home-Away format.

Mohamed Easa, brother of Maldives International Ismail Easa is a well known figure in Maldives football, working in the Association and TC Sports Club. Apart from winning the SAFF Championship, Mo also played a major role in TC Sports management, in their raise to the top, winning a Dhivehi Premier League and Sheikh Kamal Cup in Bangladesh.
