The national team players tell FA President Bassam Adeel Jaleel that they are grateful for the support.

In a Facebook post, Bassam said that the National team thanked the 12th player and they are hoping the support will continue.

The recent defeat to Nepal saw the crowds return after a long time. The loud support continued throughout the match. 

Maldives next match is against Bangladesh on the 7th of October. Bangladesh already with 3 points after defeating Sri Lanka on the opening day face India today before their match against hosts Maldives.
