Sentey Equaliser Earns Maldives a Draw Against Qatar Army Team
Ali Fasir's equaliser helped earn Maldives a draw against Qatar Army team.
Maldives drew their second friendly game 1-1, with experienced winger Sentey(Ali Fasir) getting Maldives' only goal. This is the second match Maldives has played in their preparation for the upcoming SAFF Championship. Maldives won the first game 4-3 against Lusail SC.
Maldives will play against Nepal on the 1st of October in Male' National Stadium. Other nations in the competition are Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India. After a round robin between the five nations, the top two will play the final match on the 16th of October.
