According to Dawn, Pakistan the chances of Pakistan taking part in the upcoming SAFF Championship isn't impossible.

With the SAFF Scheduled to kick off on the 1st of October, Pakistan is running out of time to meet the conditions so that the FIFA ban is lifted.

Pakistan's FIFA ban will be lifted as soon as the normalisation committee are  reinstated to the Pakistani Football Federation. Pakistan was banned from FIFA this April for "undue third-party interference".

The SAFF Championship is scheduled to start on the 1st of October when hosts Maldives take on Nepal in the Galolhu National Stadium. With Bhutan not  participating, favourites India,  Bangladesh and Sri Lanka make the 5 team Championship this year.
