Club Only One Opportunity(O1O) was destroyed 7-1 by Buru Sports Club in last night's FAM 3rd Division semi-final clash.

Star studded Buru Sports Club took the lead in the 4th minute of the game when their import player Roman Khudchenko scored from a corner. Former Eagles and Victory Sports Club winger Mohamed Thashmeen(Thahthi) scored Buru's second with a well placed effort. Former Maldives international scored bending the ball in from outside the box out wide. Abdulla Shafiu(Shaappe) added Buru's 3rd when young goalkeeper came out of the area to clear the ball, stopped by the corner flag. Illia  Sobol in the mix in the first two goals, had a long pass stopped by the corner flag, under pressure from Buru, former Maldives under-16 goalkeeper Yoosuf Meesam cleared the ball to Shaappe who lobbed the ball into the empty net from far out.

2 minutes into stoppage time O1O was awarded a freekick for a foul on Shaheem Abdul Gadir, Giacomo Favero's drive into the box was headed in by former Victory Sports star Godfrey West Omodu to make it 1-3 before halftime.

After a poor goalkick, which Sobol intercepted and then played a wall pass with Mohamed Atheef before finding Thatthi in the box, the former Maldives international coolly made it 4-1 in the 58th minute. Former Eagles star showing why he was regarded special. 7 minutes later Thatthi's long pass found Atheef in the box, Atheef's pass found another former Eagles star, Ibrahim Mubeen(Mukki). Mukki scored a breathtaking volley pass the helpless goalkeeper to make it 5-1.

Only 3 minutes later Shaappe showed his quality running into box and laying the ball for Sobol to make it 6-1. A backheel pass from Thatthi opened another opportunity for Buru and Mohamed Atheef tapped in the right backs low cross to complete the rout 15 minutes from time. Buru coach Ahmed Nimad, with whom Thatthi, Mukki and Hussain Shareef(Only) worked with in Eagles is delighted with the victory.

Buru will play the Final Match against the winner of tonight's semifinal between Biss Buru and LT Sports.
